How to best prepare for a visa consultation

After you have booked your visa consultation appointment, it’s time to get ready to meet with your former visa officer consultant.

  • Fill out your pre-consultation Questionnaire as soon as possible. After booking, you will be taken immediately to your questionnaire.  But if you need to complete it later, you will find it at the top of your screen in your dashboard. The information you provide in the questionnaire is essential to help your former visa officer consultant prepare for your meeting.
  • Make sure you have a strong, stable internet connection.  Your time with your former visa officer consultant is very valuable.  Ensure that you have a strong internet connection to make the most of your time.  You should also make sure you are using a device (smartphone or computer) that has a good-quality camera and microphone.  We suggest using headphones for the best results.
  • Have all your materials ready.  This includes your passport, your DS-160 (if already completed), and all other documents related to your visa application.
  • Be on time for your appointment.  Log in at least 5 minutes early to make sure your technical setup is working properly.  If you need to change your appointment date or time, it is important that you notify us as early as possible at support@argovisa.com or by using the live chat.
